3 Healthy Breakfast Meals

5:46 pm in Weight Loss News by seph

We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Considering that, here is a shortlist of breakfast ideas on what to have for a healthy breakfast:

1.Fruits (bananas, apples, and oranges ) are any time snacks as they are easy to carry and are loaded with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and fiber and can give you an immediate energy boost.

2. One should always chose fiber rich cereals which are ready to eat and add some berries, nuts or seeds for nutrients.
1 cup of cereal with skimmed milk will provide about 120 calories and 4 grams of protein and 20 grams of fiber.

3. Cinnamon flavoured instant oatmeal makes a fulfilling snack food but be careful as many options may be loaded with sugar. You can add to the nutrient quotient by adding a handful of nuts and seeds of your choice. Instant oatmeal will provide about 120-140 calories plus fiber and protein; check your label for details.

Steel-cut oatmeal is probably the healthier choice, but if you are in a hurry, the instant kind will do fine (it doesn’t have as much fiber, but the other ingredients make up for that). If you’re using the non-instant oatmeal; after microwaving the oatmeal, add ground flaxseed, frozen blueberries, sliced almonds. You can add a little cinnamon and honey (not a lot) That’s four power foods, full of fiber and nutrients and protein and good fats, with only a couple of minutes of prep time.

Oatmeal is great for those who want to lose some weight.Oatmeal can help you lose weight in two ways. First, it’s packed with fiber and it keeps you feeling fuller longer. Second, a recent study in the Journal of Nutrition reported that eating a breakfast made with “slow-release” carbohydrates—such as oatmeal or bran cereal—3 hours before you exercise may help you burn more fat. How? Eating “slow-release” carbohydrates doesn’t spike blood sugar as high as eating refined carbohydrates (think: white toast). In turn, insulin levels don’t spike as high. Because insulin plays a role in signaling your body to store fat, having lower blood sugar levels may help you burn fat.

Buying Guide For In-Home Cardio Machines

1:34 am in Weight Loss Activities by seph

Cardio machines are basically a general term for various kinds of exercise equipment which help in improving aerobic capacity and fitness. These include weight-bearing aerobic machines like treadmills, stair steppers, and elliptical trainers; and non-weight bearing ones like stationary bikes and rowing machines. There are also those that combine two different kinds of exercise equipment into one unit, such as elliptical-stationary bike combos.

All of these are great products, but it would be prohibitive to buy all of them. Looking at activities you enjoy doing and which ones work for you will help you decide which ones to get. For instance, if you love jogging, consider getting a treadmill. But if you want no-impact activities, get an elliptical trainer or bike instead.

You also have to establish a budget. Cardio machines are not exactly cheap. These machines can set you back anywhere around a hundred dollars to four-thousand dollars. By coming up with a budget beforehand, you will be able to narrow down your choices and avoid spending more than what you can afford comfortably. Furthermore, you have to identify which features you are ready to spend additional money for. For example, some of these aerobic machines have heart rate, speed, and resistance displays and syncing capabilities. Just remember not to be too penny-pinching to the extent of overlooking safety features such as handrails, safety switches for motorized ones, and chain guards.

Moreover, you have to think about how much space you have at home. Aerobic machines tend to take up a lot of space. If you have a small room, look for folding aerobic machines so you can put them away if you are not using them. Keep in mind though that you should buy those that have durable construction, are stable, have convenient folding and storage features, and are not too heavy to move across the room.

Also, it would be best try the equipment out to evaluate for ease of use and smoothness of operation. Also, try to check if it makes a lot of noise during operation and if it does, look for another model. It would be to your advantage as well to get machines which allow you to adjust resistance easily.

Let Go Of Your Head And Live From The Heart

7:37 pm in Pyschology That Helps by seph

Get out of your head and feel your heart. When you respect the Now you become a channel for the will of the living Source. The ego is removed from the equation. It’s only during this time when the heart is permitted to lead the mind. This is what I call “living with heart-centered intention.” If your wish is to personally create from the heart, step 1 is to figure out how you feel about what you want to create. Stretch out with your emotions for the solution.. They will not lie to you.

Living in the heart is pretty much a retreat from living in the mind. It suggests teaching yourself the correct way to say yes to whatever the universe brings to you in the moment, unconditionally. Living in the heart is not a life of doing. It is a life of being. More specifically, it's a life of being in synchronization with the moment. And when you're one with the Now, you're also in sync with theuniverse, implying that you are in synchronization with Life.Thoughts alone aren't creative. Despite what books such as “The Secret” have taught, positively empowered thoughts alone cannot create your fact.

The truth is, thoughts distort reality because they come from the known. Memories and early learning are the origins for almost all of our thoughts. Thoughts are a reactive, not an active component of creativity. Saying yes to the Now as it comes is the key to living in the heart. It is like you are asserting to the universe, “I love unconditionally whatever it is you present to me in this very moment.” Know that whatever the Source presents to you is a gift. That is the reason why it is sometimes known as the “present.” When you see yourself becoming impatient or exasperated with circumstances that pop up once in a while in your daily existance, you might find it wise to look at these moments as little “alarm clocks” buzzing off as a reminder to pull back from identifying so intimately with what is happening. If this is difficult, you could try pink magic.

We are the each living consciousness separate from what is happening. The present human has a tendency to identify so utterly with what is happening to them that they forget to create some space in between what has happened and who they are. We should see the Now for what it is, and therefore find it far easier to honor. There'll be no identification with what is happening in the Now, and as a result, there is always a space made in between the drama, conflicts, and challenges — and the true Self. This encourages the Self to live a life of non-reaction, non-resistance, and non-violence.So, if your desire is to live in your heart and not in your brain, then start by permitting presence to come into your life continuously and over time.

When the phone rings, before rushing to reply to it, pause for a few seconds. Become utterly present. Once you are focused and your intelligence is calm, then proceed to answer it. You will find that the universe will reciprocate the reverence you are giving to it, and will reflect the same respect back unto you.

Serious Cardiovascular System Damage In Type II Diabetes! I Didn’t Know!

12:26 pm in Weight Problems by seph

Your blood vessels and heart can be at serious risk if your diabetes is not properly treated and cared for. Too much blood sugar, also known as blood sugar, can severely damage parts of your body. Damage to the heart and blood vessels can cause diseases that then lead to strokes and heart attacks. These serious diseases are the main cause of death for those with Type 2 Diabetes. However, things can be done to help avoid and slow down the side effects caused by Type 2 Diabetes. It is a medically accepted fact that the fantastic thing people with Diabetes Type 2 should do is find out more information about Diabetes 2 and how to help yourself stay vital and healthy.

Your circulatory system is made up of your blood vessels and heart. The blood is pumped through your body with your heart. Oxygen rich blood is carried off to the large as well as small blood vessels. Understand that when a sufferer has Diabetes 2, the person’s cholesterol level can be raised very high and thus begin to clog a sufferer’s blood vessels. This makes it harder for sufficient quantities of blood to get all parts of your body. This condition makes other illnesses begin to form and take hold. When your blood vessels get clogged, you will start to have problems like angina, heart attack or even stroke.

Angina is a chest pain that you will feel not only in your chest, but in your arms, back or shoulders. The pain can increase when someone’s heart beats faster with increased body movements. The resulting chest pain is then more frequent if treatment is not obtained. This can occur as a result of Diabetes Type 2 having detrimental effects on the nerves of your heart. Some of those with Type 2 Diabetes may not feel pain as the nerves may be already damaged. If this is the case, you may suffer something far worse than just angina. Heart attacks occur when the heart doesn’t receive the full amount of blood it needs. The heart muscles stop and your heart will gradually grow weaker. Sometimes one may have symptoms of a heart attack, other times you may have none.

Stroke is the worse effect of a damaged heart and blood vessels. This now means that the supply of blood to your brain has been blocked. Strokes typically ends in brain damage, which is far mor worse than the majority of cardiac cases. Diabetes 2 usually results in someone’s blood pressure to go high, consequently causing much damage to your heart and blood vessels. Type two diabetes already then affects aType two Diabetes patient’s eyes and kidneys; also having high blood pressure will definitely also make it worsen. It’s critical to discuss with your  medical team to find out about how to maintain your blood pressure with proper diabetes diet and exercise.
