One of the biggest and quickest ways to fail is to not have a plan. What bride reserves a church and simply shows up the day of her wedding expecting it to all be ready for the perfect ceremony? Even kiddie birthday parties have to be carefully planned. Simply put, desired results can not be achieved until you work for it. Therefore, decide what you really want and make a plan for it.

What is the difference between wishful thinking and a solid plan?

Foresight is first. What do you want and where do you want to go with it? Planning comes from knowing your destination.

You’ve also got to know where you are right now, so you have a starting point from which to plan.

When you can clearly see your present situation and also have your eye on your goal, then it’s easier to address what you may have to deal with in between.
